Do you keep my pictures?
No. Your picture is sent to our AI provider to remove the background and isn't stored by us. The result goes straight back to your browser. See our privacy policy.
Which files can I use?
JPG, PNG and WebP pictures up to 30 MB. Very large pictures are resized to 4096 pixels on the longest side before the background is removed.
How well does it handle hair and fine detail?
It uses BiRefNet, an AI model built for precise cut-outs, so it keeps curly hair, fur, glass and thin parts like bicycle spokes. Very busy photos or subjects that blend into the background can still need a second try with a clearer photo.
Can I put a new background behind my photo?
Yes. After the background is removed, pick white, black, grey, blue, pink or any colour, then download.
