The short version

We don't store your pictures, we don't need an account, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your pictures

When you remove a background, your picture is sent to our server and on to fal.ai, the AI provider that runs the background removal model. The result comes straight back to your browser. We don't save your picture or the result, and we ask fal.ai to return the result directly rather than keep it in its request history. fal.ai processes pictures under its own privacy policy.

Pictures you open on the page stay in your browser and are gone when you close or leave the page.

Free limits

To keep the service free for everyone, we count how many pictures each visitor removes per day. We do this with a scrambled (salted and hashed) form of your IP address, never the address itself, and we delete these counts after 7 days.

Hosting and bot protection

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a visitor is human; Cloudflare handles that check under its own privacy policy.
